Tahira Hassan
Relationship Officer
International Banking Division |
After having graduated with a Bsc. Economics & Management
with the University of London through their external
programme of LSE, I joined Bank Alfalah Ltd in 2005 as my
first job. I started my career with the financial
institutions Division and continue to be part of the same
department. My responsibilities encompass a myriad of areas
within the division. I have been working in the capacity of
a relationship officer and was mentored by my seniors and
colleagues as I was a fresh graduate. I was given the most
basic assignments initially, i.e. preparing the Management
Information Systems for our correspondent banking exposures
and was entrusted with greater responsibilities in due
course including correspondence and corporate communication.
I was introduced to the concepts and workings of trade
finance in this department.
I had the wonderful privilege to be a Management Trainee
Officer at Bank Alfalah Ltd. The training entailed rigorous
and thorough class room based and on job rotation covering a
span of 3 months. It allowed me an in depth perspective into
banking as a fresh graduate and significantly facilitated my
work assignments. Bank Alfalah has been a true learning
experience as it has harnessed my raw skills. I consider it
my second home simply because the work environment it offers
to its resource is conducive to immense growth and
independence. Graduates striving for a sound career path
with a comprehensive understanding of a financial
institution would find BAL as their best choice. BAL has the
perfect ingredients to provide on the job experience in key
areas of banking to each graduate in order to determine
their respective fortes within the organization. Bank
Alfalah provides the opportunities to stretch the horizons
and make our own niche. |
